How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

I started 11 years ago as an independent Freelance Consultant in the fields of Human Resources, Digital Economy, Digital Marketing, Digital Transformation, Smart Cities, and Digitalization.

I was involved in many different projects. I was a member of the research team in the project of mapping the current state of Smart Cities in the Western Balkans region in 2018, in some of Smart Cities’ critical segments such as climate neutrality, energy-efficient buildings, and urban mobility.

Also, last three years I have been involved as an external consultant with CAMAC Group, Space, and CruXera. As a result, a strategic analytics tool. Together we had projects in Slovenia – D&B of a hostel that has received a silver Smart Building certification (the fourth space in the world accredited at the moment). From September to December 2021, I worked for Pyron Technology from Serbia as an external consultant specifically for creating a deep digital transformation analysis and later strategy development. I would be honored to participate in Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission to deliver at least 100 European climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 and to ensure that these cities also act as experimentation and innovation hubs for others to follow, to enable all European cities to become climate-neutral by 2050.

Also, on the academic side, I worked for 6 years as a Senior Teaching Assistant at American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina with 26 courses in the teaching portfolio. I am currently Director for Digital Transformation and Director for Smart Cities for the EU Technology Chamber. The future of digital transformation is compelling and will be full of surprises along the way. But one thing is for sure – The Future of Digital Transformation Depends on People.
