Mohamed Idrissi is a passionate 5G expert, 5G Trainer, and the CTO of 5GWorldPro, a telecommunication company that has independent, and deep knowledge of multi-vendor implementations.

Mohamed is leading 5GWorldpro to provide customers 5G Training and Consulting services and help them efficiently optimize their network to deliver unmatched customer experience, they have already provided thousands of 5G Training courses to many particulars and professionals over the past years.

Mohamed has an extensive background experience in telecommunications having worked with top industry players from both vendor and operator sides, he was recently recognized as one of 100 influential voices in 5G from Onalytica’s report.

How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

I have been working for over 15 years in the telecom industry. I’ve been fortunate to work with multinational companies for all technologies 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G from both operator and vendor side.

I started as an optimization engineer, worked as a solution architect, then i became a Telecom senior manager. Now I’m harnessing my experience in my role as Technical director of 5GWorldpro, influencer and thought leader.

My main objective is to provide customers 5G Training an Consulting services and help them efficiently optimise their network to deliver unmatched customer experience

What challenges are brands facing in this space?

5G offers smarter, better and more-energy-efficient connectivity for both operators and enterprises.

Mobile operators face the difficult task of quickly turning new technologies into services with all the technical and business complexities involved.

The primary problem is in how to make the business case for 5G profitable because the investment is huge and subscribers are not expected to accept substantial rate increases. so, MNOs have the daunting task of finding ways to monetize their services to generate new revenues , while ensuring that each CAPEX and OPEX dollar is used efficiently.

From the enterprise and mainly industry perspective, efficient integration of vertical use cases is among the most significant challenges in 5G. That’s why it is important to co-create the use-cases with verticals from then beginning that needs to be integrated with legacy systems and with the right architecture that fits the vertical.

Also another challenge for enterprise is using 5G Slicing that provides service flexibility and ability to deliver services faster with high security, isolation, and applicable characteristics to meet the SLA.
