Ravin Jesuthasan is the global leader of Mercer’s Transformation Services business. He is a recognized global thought leader, futurist, and author on the future of work and workforce transformation. Ravin has led numerous research projects for the World Economic Forum and is a regular presenter at its annual meeting in Davos.
Ravin has been recognized as one of the top 25 most influential consultants in the world by Consulting Magazine, one of the top 8 future of work influencers by Tech News and one of the top 100 HR influencers by HR Executive. He is the author of 4 books and over 175 articles on the Future of Work, including 15 for the Harvard Business Review and the Sloan Management Review.

How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
I am a “retreaded” Finance and Strategy guy by training and am a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). I have been deeply passionate about bringing science to that most pivotal of organizational assets; talent for many years. This passion led me to start researching and writing about the future of work beginning in 2007 and i have been blessed to have been able to test and develop my ideas with some of the largest companies in the world. I have been equally blessed to have been given the intellectual freedom to learn and grow by my employers; Willis Towers Watson and Mercer.

What do you think the future holds in this space?
We are going to see a growing premium on organizations becoming more agile to navigate the growing volatility and pace of the new world of work. Companies will need a new work operating system that enables talent to engage with work seamlessly while ensuring the optimal combinations of talent and technology.
