He is, also, the CIO of a Government company, which manages terminals and offers bus lines for public transport, charter services, regular routes and inter-city travel on behalf of the government throughout southern Italy.

How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

As a technology enthusiast, I started to deal with digital since my youth in the early eighties. After the degree of engineering, at the turn of the new millennium, I got my first job as a Business and Technology Analyst for an international IT company. Since then I have spent about 20 years in the IT sector in executive roles. I love the emotions given by the new challenges, so thirteen years ago I launched my business, with the aim of helping companies to fully understand which innovation strategies to embrace and advanced technologies to adopt in order to remain competitive and conquer new market segments. I also collaborate with startups and SME as mentor, Digital Transformation advisor, Privacy Officer, Project Manager and Information Security consultant. I am a co-founder of the CIO Club, the first Italian non-profit organization involving CIOs and IT managers across the country, where we run workshops and focus groups on the topics of IT and Digitalization.

What topic areas are you most passionate about?

Everything about business and innovation strategies excites me. I like to spread knowledge of these topics with my audience. My goal is to inspire, motivate and guide, leaders and professionals, as well as ordinary people, towards a conscious adoption of digital transformation.

Which influencers influence you within those key topics?

I can say that I am very glad to read the expert standpoints of many great leaders I follow, but among them, Antonio Grasso is absolutely the one who first inspired (and helped) me to become a well-known influencer.

Outside of your key topics who else influences you?

Recently, I am getting passionate about topics related to artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science. I really appreciate reading posts by Ronald Van Loon, Bill Schmarzo, Mike Quindazzi and Kirk Borne.

How would you describe your offline influence?

I think that a genuine leader must be set on a constant journey of learning, self-improvement, and self-discovery in order to achieve greater things. I try to motivate and inspire my collaborators, clients and colleagues, with whom I have the pleasure of working, to take actions to grow and create the transformation for bringing business and organization into the digital era.

If a brand wanted to work with you, which activities would you be most interested in collaborating on?

I am available to collaborate with brands in blog posts, whitepapers, social campaigns, speaking opportunities, product innovation, video interviews and anything that can create value for them.

What’s your best source of information for getting ahead of a story?

Twitter is obviously one of the best sources of information. However, I try to stay updated also thanks to the reading of good books, magazines and blogs. I attend conferences, events and seminars, I follow webinars and training courses, and finally, the debate with professionals.

What brands have you worked with?

I worked with great brands and I’m currently working with some sparkle startups internationally and some local very important SME. However, I prefer to maintain confidentiality about this point.

Which non-paid activities would you be keen to take part in if the opportunity raised your profile or delivered value to your audience?
