How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

I have a long career working across tech and finance roles in banks, big corporations and startups. I love to read and keep up to date with the world of FinTech and exchange ideas with innovators in this space.

What sub topics are you most passionate about?

Financial inclusion, next generation innovation of financial services.

Who influences you within these topics?

No one source but I read a lot of research papers and personal blogs from folks exploring alternative ways of doing financial services.

What challenges are brands facing in this space?

Gaining trust in an emerging industry, differentiation in an ever-crowded market, marketing in a noisy digital room.

What do you think the future holds in this space?

Some big ticket items on the financial services horizon are: corporate currencies, financial censorship, diversification of value, metaverse, data monetisation.

What brands are leading the way in this space?

It would be unfair to pick particular brands. There is a lot of good work being done in financial services across the board in big corporates and startups alike. Most brands are finding their niche and working on solving real customer problems. I do of course have my favourites but that’s for a conversation.

If a brand wanted to work with you, which activities would you be most interested in collaborating on?

Speaking, research work/reports, white papers, advising, consultancy, interviews, workshops.

What are your passions outside of work?

Family, travel, food, photography, adventures.

What would be the best way for a brand to contact you?

By email.
