Bio:

Giselle Mota is a Principal Consultant on the Future of Work. She brings simplicity, humanity, and innovative perspective to the sometimes abstract and complex world of the future of work. These areas range from Web 3.0 technologies including artificial intelligence, data analytics, spatial computing, to topics such as diversity equity and inclusion and many other relevant trends of the ever-evolving world of work.

As an industry leader, she assists executives and HR practitioners with innovative human capital management strategies amidst digital disruption. Giselle is a global speaker and has been featured on TED Talks, Forbes, Cheddar News, Chief Learning Officer Magazine to name a few. She serves across boards related to Leadership in AI, the Future of Work, Disability Inclusion, and is active among startup and entrepreneurial spaces all in hopes of creating an inclusive future of work and opportunities for all.

Giselle has recently featured in Onalytica's Who's Who in The Future of Work report.

How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

Working early on in academia led me into corporate learning, and then I began merging tech approaches such as AI, AR/VR, etc to bring personalization and immersion into Learning and Development in my own AI Consulting Practice. I also worked on early projects related to AI/ML, Analytics, Automation, the Gig Economy, AR/VR, and skilling up organizations on tech and strategies related to the future of work at PwC.

What sub-topics are you most passionate about?

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion,  AI Ethics, Data Governance, Quantum Computing, Blockchain, Neurodiversity, Skills, entrepreneurship, and startups.

Who influences you within these topics?

So many of the people listed in the Onalytica report along with me.

What do you think the future holds in this space?

The future holds in store a reimagination of what we’ve traditionally defined as all things work. I foresee more flexibility, decentralization, and democratization almost in parallel with our daily lived experiences beyond work.

What brands are leading the way in this space?

More than brands, I would point to industries such as Gaming/Media, Retail/Fashion, and FinTech. Consider the ways in which these are embracing connectivity, spatial computing experiences, blockchain, organizational structures, and more to reimagine the way they conduct business and create experiences for their customers. In many cases, leaders in these spaces have learned that this is equally if not more valuable for the worker experience.

Speaking opportunities, podcasts, webinars, media presentations, collaboration in books/whitepapers/articles, board member requests.

What are your passions outside of work?

Family, travel, music, learning.

What would be the best way for a brand to contact you?

LinkedIn.
