Bio:

Nadine Soyez has many years of experience as a senior project manager and as a senior consultant in international distributed teams and projects in well-known management and IT consultancies and in groups. Her passion and mission are to help companies, leaders, teams to succeed in the digital work environment by redefining collaboration and leadership.

How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

I have a background in economics, business administration, and management, and I’ve always been working as a management consultant in the field of management & technology. My work interest has always been how technology is changing our work and mindset, and how this affects humans and organizations. When implementing tools to improve business processes and solve business challenges over many years, I quickly noticed, it is not about the right technology, but the change in how we work together – it is about us humans behind the screen and human behavior. My goal is to create value in teams and organizations by leveraging digital collaboration and implementing productive digital work environments.

What sub-topics are you most passionate about?

These are topics about digital collaboration, digital leadership, tools & technology, organizational change, and personal growth in the digital work environment.

Who influences you within these topics?

I’m influenced by Andrew McAfee. He works as a Principal Research Scientist at MIT and studies how digital technologies are transforming businesses, economies and societies.

What do you think the future holds in this space?

I believe work will become more and more flexible. Therefore we need technology, but also new digital skills to succeed in this technical work environment. This goes beyond tool handling. It is about new ways of communication, social interactions, and leadership.

What brands are leading the way in this space?

This is hard to answer because it depends on the company size in my opinion. Smaller companies try out more tools – which can be a problem because many of them think “the more tools I have the more productive I will become”. And the tools are isolated from each other and do not communicate via interfaces that much. Larger enterprises have stricter IT compliance and there the big players like Microsoft are leading.

If a brand wanted to work with you, which activities would you be most interested in collaborating on?

I’m interested in podcasts, videos, webinars, articles, whitepapers, interviews.

What are your passions outside of work?

I’m passionate about cycling (road bike), exploring places, and traveling.

What would be the best way for a brand to contact you?

Linkedin, email.
