How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
What sub-topics are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about cybersecurity as it relates to digital health. I became passionate about digital health when I got sick in 2018. My life was disrupted over the past several years looking for answers to save myself, shuffling from doctor to doctor, specialist to specialist, trapped in an endless loop of siloed care that did not gives answers to unexplained conditions. Eventually, by applying my cybersecurity background to my medical case, I saved my own life. What I discovered on this tumultuous medical journey would change the course of my life, and in turn, give me the opportunity to bring my cybersecurity knowledge and my patient experience together to better cyber-secure the healthcare ecosystem along with making a real, needed transformation in healthcare.
