How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
Spent 25+ years running product management and marketing for data and analytics software vendors and then 5+ years conducting primary market research on these markets.
What topic areas are you most passionate about?
Using data to improve business operations and the bottom line.
Which influencers influence you within those key topics?
My colleagues Mark Smith and Rob Kugel. Also, many others including Merv Adrian, Neil Raden, Howard Dresner.
Outside of key topics, who else influences you?
Everyone — I try to absorb information from any and all sources.
How would you describe your offline influence?
Research based opinions and guidance targeted at helping organizations succeed.
What’s your best source of information for getting ahead of a story? What resource do you use to stay ahead of the trend?
Our own primary market research of how organizations are using technology along with our regular direct dialog with technology vendor executives.

Which non-paid activities would you be keen to take part in if the opportunity raised your profile or delivered value to your audience?
I would be keen to provide a quote for content or news article, share or create a social post, speak at an event, podcast or a webinar. I am also interested in creating video content.
