Bio:
John is Exec Chair of the International Fundraising Consultancy, author of several books including “The Globalization of Non-Governmental Organisations”, a Fellow of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and an international speaker on fundraising. He has worked in over 60 countries and holds a lifetime Contribution Award from the IoF.
How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
I was Director of Fundraising for Friends of the Earth, Amnesty International and Freedom from Torture. Set up my own consultancy in 2000 with offices in 12 countries. We work for UN Agencies, INGOs and non-profits around the world.
What topic areas are you most passionate about?
All aspects of fundraising and leadership. The global development of NGOs.

Anyone with practical, innovative and well designed ideas in the field.

Progressive politicians, artists and writers.

I do a myriad of activities such as speaking, writing, networking, consulting with clients.
