Sonia Wedrychowicz is a thought leader in Digital Banking and Technology Transformation, with 25 years of experience in financial services and technology. She has worked in major banking organizations in Europe, Asia and the US in transactional and consumer banking. Sonia holds a Master’s degree in Foreign Trade from Warsaw School of Economics and a BA in European Business Studies from Brunel University in London. She is married, with two children aged 15 and 20. Sonia is a passionate traveller, cook and a kickboxer with black belt in American kickboxing.
How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
What topic areas are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about digitalisation of customer experience that leads to providing clients with solutions driven by simplicity, speed and convenience. I believe digital is about people and have been driving the biggest people transformation project in the world for JP Morgan Chase in USA – the whole consumer bank.
Which influencers influence you within those key topics?
I am a practitioner in banking for 25 years so I get a lot of inspiration from my own work. In addition, I get a lot of inspiration from Jim Marous, Oliver Bussmann, Brett King, Sam Maule, Xavier Gomez

What are your passions outside of work?
I am a passionate cook, traveller and kickboxer- black belt in American Kickboxing
How would you describe your offline influence?
I have spoken at over 50 conferences all around the world and have been invited to 12 conferences in the next 2.5 months, including being an Distinguished Speaker at the Singapore Fintech Festival. I am a passionate writer of posts and articles, that I publish mostly on LinkedIn. I have been interviewed for several newspapers and magazines and also have been on a TV series in Poland promoting entrepreneurship. My posts on Linkedin engage around 100,000 viewers per week, over 5 million per annum.
