How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?

I trained as a telecoms analyst with Informa Telecoms & Media during 2006-2014, I then worked for the GSMA as an eSIM research analyst from 2014-2016, then worked for the World Humanitarian organisation as a Contents and Partnerships Manager from 2017-2018. In this role i would focus on understanding how Technological innovations can potentially be adopted and/or applied by organisations to ensure humanitarian aid, as well as sustainable development initiatives, are effective and well targeted. since 2018 I have worked for, and continue to still work for, Juniper Research as a Technology Consultant – aiding clients to navigate the challenges surrounding the implementation of technology to improve, enhance and maximise the efficiency of their business operations.

What topic areas are you most passionate about?

I’m extremely passionate about eSIM technology, and how the implementation of eSIM initiatives will aid both enterprise and consumer segments to scale the connecting of various objects and systems. This, in turn, will create vast amounts and types of data – for aggregating, and thereafter ingesting into Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to produce even more meaningful and insightful trend analysis. Overall, the capture and analysis of this data is what will help us as a society progress and advance across all areas from sustainability (e.g. less waste of materials during industrial processes) resourcefulness (e.g. reducing the frequency of downtimes of machinery in factories)

Which influencers influence you within those key topics?

I think everyone well known – from Elon Musk to Jeff Bezos as these individuals continue to think ‘outside of the box’ and challenge the normal way of thinking – particularly with using technology, data and telecoms.

How would you describe your offline influence?

I possess a wide network of contacts (over 4,000 contacts on my LinkedIn network) in the technology space.

What’s your best source of information for getting ahead of a story? What resource do you use to stay ahead of the trend?

To stay ahead of the story, so to speak, I usually set up direct interviews, or briefings, with stakeholders relevant to the topic i am analysing, or focusing on. I always think it is best to hear directly from stakeholders who are deeply involved with making a technological solution, regulating that technology, or influential to its development/advancement.

If a brand wanted to work with you, which activities would you be most interested in collaborating on?

The activities I would be interested in, if a brand wanted to collaborate with me, would be video interviews, speaking opportunities, webinars and product innovation.

What brands have you worked with?

We have worked with telecom operators – from Bell Canada, to Vodafone, Verizon, to STC to Infrastructure Providers such as Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE and Huawei. We have worked with Cloud providers too such as Google and Amazon.

Which non-paid activities would you be keen to take part in if the opportunity raised your profile or delivered value to your audience?

I would be keen to provide a quote for content or news article, speak at or attend an event. I am also interested in writing a product review or creating video content.

What are your passions outside of work?

I love singing, writing songs and playing piano. I am a musician outside of work. I regularly play at venues in and around London – from pubs, to bars, to restaurants. My YouTube channel can be found here.

What would be the best way for a brand to contact you?

Send me an email.
