How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
I have 36 years of in depth business and information technology experience, and more than 20 years of experience developing data-driven solutions for companies. I started working with data warehouse and business intelligence in the mid-90s, and evolved along with the data area: analytics, big data, data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
What topic areas are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about all data areas, I like to say that I am specialised in “all things data”.

Outside of key topics, who else influences you?
I like the topics of innovation and leadership, but without any specific name as an influencer.
How would you describe your offline influence?
I am running a consulting firm that develops strategies to plan and implement innovative data-driven solutions. I also provide consultancy in content creation, in English and Portuguese: articles, whitepapers, podcasts, videos, workshops, courses, eBooks, chapter book, lectures, panels, participation in events, social promotions and engagement for brands.
What’s your best source of information for getting ahead of a story? What resource do you use to stay ahead of the trend?
Books, social media, business and technology sites, and also research on emerging Technologies.
