A serial entrepreneur, whose personal life philosophy and career have changed after her first trip to USA. How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
I am a US Army Vet and did my basic Ft. Jackson, SC , AIT Ft. Gordon, GA. MOS Military Occupational Specialties: 68 LIMA (Avionic Communications Repairer). The technical training sparked my interest in secure communications and technology topics.
Seven years ago, I founded Spotrus, my own Media Management company. I built the company from scratch and did a deep dive on learning about tech issues and cyber issues that small to midsize businesses valued most. I worked hands-on to promote their services on Social Media networks. My focus was on helping my clients obtain the best online exposure, by promoting and improving their social media presence. It took research networking, and lots of learning on my part to succeed in that mission,
Also, on top of my work experience, I completed the Cyber Security Risk Management Course at Harvard X to learn more about the latest trends on cybersecurity. The course was illuminating.
What topic areas are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about marketing because it has allowed me to interact with some great people and companies, It has also been a vehicle for me to share content on my favorite topics: Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation – Emerging Tech (AI, Machine Learning, IoT Cloud). I am always eager to learn more from others on those topics and my work in marketing provides the impetus for exploration and networking. Outside of key topics, who else influences you?
My Mother was the biggest influence in my life. She steered me in the right direction and taught me about the things that mean the most in life. I really admire her character, especially her resilience in the face of adversity and her eagerness to help others. She was the perfect role model!
How would you describe your offline influence?
My offline influence is separated from my profession as a digital influencer. My offline activities are spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy mentoring and to fulfilment of providing advice to others whether it be on careers or life issues.
What’s your best source of information for getting ahead of a story? What resource do you use to stay ahead of the trend?
I am a voracious reader, I follow topics on tech and cybersecurity in a variety of publications, blogs, and podcasts across social media posts on platforms. I am especially active on Twitter Linkedin but I am exploring newer mediums too such as Clubhouse.

I would collaborate on being the bridge between the brand and their targeted audience.
