Jesus is also a co-founder of the Social Media Club Mexico City. Jesus was also a Primary judge at CRMIdol, a world-wide CRM contest for small and medium-sized CRM vendors. How did you get to become an expert in your key topics?
Worked on a CRM Startup in the 90s as a developer and consultant. Later joined Cambridge Technology Partners as the CRM Domain Partner for Latin America implementing tools like Clarify, Siebel, and Vantive. Later founded Solvis Consulting to implement CRM solutions and helped companies with their CRM strategist using many cloud solutions. And still, as a founder of Solvis, started helping CRM vendors as an analyst and influencer to enter the LATAM market.
What sub-topics are you most passionate about?
I help companies in LATAM and other regions implement customer engagement ecosystems by integrating MarTech and CRM. I also help vendors understand the LATAM market. I am passionate about closing the gap between the strategy and the technology using my own 9 point execution methodology around the customer relationship cycle.
Who influences you within these topics?
My customers, my local team, plus key fellow analysts and influencer in the USA and Latin America.
What challenges are brands facing in this space?
Be able to execute based on a customer-centric roadmap using a customer engagement ecosystem based on one data model and integrated based on one customer relationship cycle. Companies are still focusing on technology but don’t understand the use of the technology to be able to get more out of it, and at the same time there is so much focus on digital transformation without been customer-centric. I help companies and vendors close these gaps.
What do you think the future holds in this space?
Simple to operate customer engagement ecosystems and simple pricing for all the different components of the ecosystem are the key areas that the vendors need to focus to improve.
What brands are leading the way in this space?
Zoho with ZohoOne, SugarCRM, Microsoft and many local CRM and MarTech vendors in LATAM are focusing on simple solutions with integrated ecosystems and simple pricing. SAP and Oracle are starting to do the same. Then Salesforce.
